1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using CalmDraft, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use CalmDraft for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

2. What CalmDraft provides

CalmDraft helps people review difficult written communications and workplace scenarios. It may provide a conflict-risk read, explanations, rewritten language, and practical next steps. You remain responsible for deciding what to send, say, do, or rely on.

3. Important guidance boundary

CalmDraft provides informational communication guidance only. It is not legal, HR, medical, or crisis advice and does not replace professional judgment. CalmDraft does not determine legal rights, workplace-policy compliance, safety risk, or the right response to an emergency. Seek qualified professional support and use the appropriate reporting, emergency, or crisis channel when a situation calls for it.

4. Your account and content

Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate information. Only submit content you have the right to share and review. Before entering a message, consider whether it includes confidential, sensitive, personal, or workplace information and use appropriate care. Do not submit content in a way that violates another person's rights, a confidentiality duty, or applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use and App Abuse

Use CalmDraft for lawful, good-faith communication review. We do not treat ordinary use of the service's conflict-review features as abuse, including reviewing a tense email, text message, or memo. App abuse means using the service in a way that harms people, compromises the service, circumvents its fair operation, or creates material legal or safety risk.

Examples of app abuse include:

• Trying to access accounts, data, systems, or features you are not authorized to use.
• Probing, testing, disabling, bypassing, or working around security controls, review limits, rate limits, payment controls, or other service restrictions.
• Scraping, crawling, harvesting, or using bots, scripts, or other automation to access or misuse the service without our permission.
• Submitting malware, malicious code, or content intended to disrupt, damage, or compromise the service or other people.
• Impersonating another person or organization, misrepresenting your identity or authority, or engaging in fraud.
• Using CalmDraft to harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or target someone with abusive communications.
• Using the service to plan, facilitate, conceal, or encourage illegal activity.
• Misusing support, billing, refunds, chargebacks, trials, promotions, or account creation processes.

6. Consequences of app abuse

We respond proportionately. Depending on the severity, intent, recurrence, and risk involved, CalmDraft may issue a warning or request that conduct stop; temporarily limit access or suspend an account; remove content where appropriate; terminate an account; or refuse service. We may preserve or disclose relevant information when legally required or when necessary to protect CalmDraft, our users, or others.

Serious or urgent abuse may result in immediate suspension or termination. We do not guarantee advance notice when immediate action is needed to prevent harm, protect the service, investigate suspected abuse, or comply with legal obligations. CalmDraft may cooperate with law enforcement where required by law.

7. Plans, billing, and access

Free and paid plans may include different review limits and features. Prices, plan details, and payment terms shown at checkout apply to the plan you choose. We may change plans or features over time, and we will communicate material changes when appropriate. Abuse of billing, refunds, chargebacks, trials, promotions, or account creation may lead to action under these terms.

8. Service changes and availability

We may update, maintain, pause, or discontinue parts of CalmDraft to improve the service, address security concerns, or meet legal obligations. We aim to keep the service useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as CalmDraft evolves. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.

10. Questions and appeals

If CalmDraft takes action on your account and you believe it was a mistake, use the support contact shown in your account or billing communication to ask for a review. We will consider relevant context, but an appeal does not guarantee restoration of access. CalmDraft does not currently publish a separate support email on this site.
